The finest coffee in Bali is grown on the island's highest altitudes in the north, the montain region known as Kintamani, where cool climate and volcanic soil provide a highly favourable environment for the arabica coffee tree. The "aged" Kintamani Arabica coffee has a delicate aroma and rich elegant flavour. Bali Kintamani can seldom be savoured outside of the island due to the small quantity harvested yearly, thus making it a special treat for visitors to Bali.
